Feeling a Little Blue Today…

…I mean in a good way…because look what I found…

Isn’t it gorgeous! It had to come home with me…even if I needed to open my purse a little wider than I normally do.  That cobalt blue glass had me at Hello…Me,that red and white loving girl…it inspired me to add a little more blue love in the house.

Like a beautiful hydrangea in a bone china vase from Japan and a lucious bowl of fresh, local blueberries.

And a delectable cobbler in my blueberry Polish pottery!

Princess approved of course!

  1. I think I would love to have that blueberry cobbler recipe- it looks delicious! The vase is beautiful and the hydrangea is too. Blue is such a happy color isn’t it? The Princess is looking very happy and so beautiful, she is growing up so fast! Thank-you for this lovely post. Your blog is a welcome addition every time.

    1. And here I thought the recipe was too simple to add…yes I will send the recipe! I truly wish I could slow time down sometimes. We are so proud of her accomplishments but I miss my chubby legged toddler.

  2. What a wonderful find the wash board is and so pretty too. Your blues will look great with your reds and white. The blueberry cobbler looks delicious and I can tell the little Princess is loving it. Thank you for sharing with us and have a lovely week, Amy.

    1. Someday I hope to have a real laundry room instead of a ,well, laundry closet…I imagine the washboard would be a wonderful decorative touch. Thanks and enjoy your week.

  3. Oh yes, it’s a beauty! I have a friend that has a cobalt blue one and it is gorgeous in person. 🙂 Love the touches of blue! I am a red and white lover as well, but now and then a bit of blue is nice. I just bought two packages of blueberries. Made blueberry waffles and was thinking I should make a cobbler. Looks yummy, and princess is so cute!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  5. Hi Amy, my name is Anne and I’m a first time visitor to your blog (by way of Amaze Me Monday). I love your washboard! Are the rungs painted in a chevron pattern? Gorgeous. Hope to see you stop by my blog sometime to say hi!

  7. That is a terrific find. I think blue may be the next vogue colour. I am busy decluttering my house, I may have to rethink tossing some blue items out.
