  2. so love the pretty pink Easter dress! My mother made me a similar dress back in 1952 with hand embroidered bunnies in a row–everything old is new again! (especially on Easter)

    1. About the only time I can safely put her in a dress is on Sunday. She loves her playground and art time at school. I love smocking and pretty much anything vintage!

  3. I love this post full of beautiful pictures with lots of eye candy! The window of cards is lovely and that egg tree is magnificent. The sweet pink dress looks so lovely on your sweet daughter. Hope your Easter was blessed.

  4. Your chest is so wonderful, it’s perfect as it is with original hardware. Is in good shape, have you had it long? We had one similar but without mirror we got in San Diego from foreign shippers. Our daughter has it now, her husband gel stained it, gorgeous. Was covered in black paint when we bought it. That’s way shippers prepared furniture for shipping to keep bugs out of it. Hubs sanded it off and we left it that way.
Your little girl is so precious, especially in her Easter dress. Did you make it? I used to love making dresses for both girls who are 10 yrs. apart with 2 brothers in middle. Next to youngest is 6 yrs. older. than 4th.
You have so sweetly shared such nice photos of your Easter, your front yard is so fun.
Hope you and your family had wonderful Easter.

    1. I had the great opportunity to live in Europe and Japan for almost 20 years. Love, in the form of my hero, brought me home. I took advantage of the shopping opportunity. It is a miracle that I avoided any major damage from all the moves.
I wish I could take credit for the smocked dress…it was actually a great deal from a local store. Our Princess loves dresses but is a little rough and tumble on the playground.

      1. Yeah our youngest was bit of a tomboy, followed her brothers around, mimicking them. For many years called youngest boy the “Tasmanian devil”, so full of being boy..
How wonderful you got to spend time in Europe and Japan. One of our grand daughters got to spend time in Italy, went to few other countries while she was there all last summer as an Au pair. What an experience for 19 yr. old. Our youngest went to Jamaica as a 19 yr. old all by herself.
Enjoy your little princess, she is adorable.
        Have wonderful week
