When you live in an almost 100 year old house with an awesome front porch, how could you not show off your patriotic best! I love a vintage house with vintage decor. Let’s hear it for the Red, White and Blue!
Our porch railing was made for bunting and a fluttering American flag.
An antique workbench dressed up with flag garland and enamelware.
It is such a pleasure to rock the afternoon away and watch the world go by.
Bunting may be too tattered to use on the railings, but it has new life on a bamboo ladder.
Our All-American Princess shows her patriotic pride.

Such a pretty porch. I just published a post about An Old-fashioned 4th of July in which I lamented the fact that I don’t own a historic house that I could decorate for the 4th–so jealous!

And I have to admit it makes it twice as nice living in probably the quaintest city ever. Annapolis is awesome. Feel free to drop by…porches are made for visits.

That porch railing certainly was made for a patriotic bunting! A white railing is always stunning. I love the red, white, and blue, and your princess is an Americana cutie! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

The porch was a huge selling point of this house! There are plenty of challenges with this old house but afternoons on the porch make it all worthwhile

I would love to live in an old home like that with a beautiful front porch! I just keep dreaming! I don’t have an old house so for now I just dress up my porch patriotic anyway. Thank you for sharing!

This is my first front porch and I am really loving it. Annapolis is the best city to just watch the world go by. Of course, an old house has plenty of challenges but things like the front porch make it all worthwhile.

I absolutely adore your front porch. It is no only made for waving the flag, it’s made for front porch sitting. It’s truly beautiful.

We have been using it a lot recently. The Princess likes to check out all the neighborhood dogs and I enjoy the chats with friends. Front porches are made to socialize!

Full agreement here. We left them up a little longer than usual for my hero’s retirement. I miss them the colors now.
