Summer’s End

No garden to tend,
Comes to an end.
and deliciously savor
and the fruits of our labor.
for autumn make way,
With this last celebration
We call Labor Day!
Poor Princess has been recuperating from minor surgery this week! She is on the mend and enjoying the cinematic classic “Barbie in Fairytopia”…for the 100th time.

It is an interesting time of the year… enjoying the flowers and gardens as they bloom, but knowing they are on the way out for the year. It is a beautiful time of the year though and I do enjoy it. 🙂

Hope your princess is better. I think the only thing worse than a SICK kid is a CONVALESCING kid. You don’t want them to do too much yet and they don’t understand their limits (kinda like not scratching the chicken pox!). And the need to be entertained… hope you folks get to have your rest, too!

She is pretty resident but she didn’t like recuperating rules. She’s feeling better, this surgery was pretty easy. Unfortunately she has a few more in the future. She is back to school and loving ever minute of it.

Beautiful touches of Fall. I am seriously in love with that bag you have hanging on a door. I am on the hunt for one similar to use as a “wreath” for mine. It’s gorgeous!
