Well…Finally some Fall!

Yesterday something just clicked and suddenly it’s Fall! Pumpkins no longer look out of place, the trees have decided to show their real color and I actually crave Pumpkin Spice everything! Fall, my most favorite season of the year. It was delightful to enjoy a football game wearing a sweatshirt yesterday. A Navy win…sorry Air Force. Enjoy a few peeks of my home dressed in wonderful Fall…

Spicy Fall colors in an antique chair…

…and another with more Fall delights.

This bench in the Foyer welcomes guests…

…and a fireplace waits patiently to be useful for more than decor again.

Yes, I had a house divided this weekend…Go Navy! And better luck next time Air Force.

  1. I’m getting lazy. I used to decorate for the seasons. Now it’s hard to even get all the Christmas stuff out and put away. But I do love seeing what everyone else has. – Margy

  2. I know it’s hard to think Fall, when everything is green and lucious still outside, though we finally are having some cool evenings here in Chicagoland. Love your chair vignette. Fall just makes me think of old things, also!

  3. I love your “spicy colors”. To me that’s what fall is about. While I have been experimenting with more neutral colors it’s those traditional colors that make my heart sing.
